For institutions
See student employability as a journey, not just a placement-season report.
For colleges, universities, training institutes and placement teams.
Student profiles, projects, skills, career preparation, job applications and placement activity can live in separate registers. ACOSYSTEM's institutional direction is to connect relevant student context with employability preparation and placement activity, with appropriate permissions and student choice.
What institutions need to understand
- Which students have joined the career experience
- What preparation or project evidence is available
- Where students are in their placement journey
- Which support or next steps may be relevant
- What placement activity can be reported from verified data
Permission and accuracy matter
Institutional visibility must be based on the data actually collected, clear access permissions and student consent where required. Do not assume a student is discoverable to recruiters merely because their college has a record.
Current beta status
An institution account role exists, while some roster, join-code, cohort-readiness and placement-report screens still require a product walkthrough to verify. Request an institution discussion to confirm which views are operational before relying on them.
A responsible pilot checklist
Define the student cohort, purpose of each field, consent and access rules before importing records. Agree what counts as project evidence or employability progress, how students can correct their information, and which staff can view each report. Separate verified student activity from missing or self-reported information, and avoid treating incomplete data as a judgement of ability. During onboarding, confirm the roster, student control panel, placement workflow and recruiter-channel connections that are operational in the current release.
Measure what the pilot can prove
Agree on a baseline before the pilot starts. Depending on the data available, this could include student participation, completion of preparation activities, documented project evidence, application-stage progress and the time staff spend compiling updates. Define each measure, its source and its owner; do not report a placement outcome unless the underlying record supports it. Review results with students and placement staff, note missing data openly, and use the findings to decide whether to expand, change or stop the pilot.
