Career transitions
When work changes, your next move needs more than another application.
For people navigating a layoff, an uncertain job search or a difficult career switch.
A layoff or stalled job search can make the market feel unfamiliar. You may be unsure which roles fit your experience, which skills to strengthen or how your previous work translates to a new direction. ACOSYSTEM is being built to help connect those questions instead of treating each application, resume edit and interview practice as an isolated task.
Map the situation before choosing a direction
Bring together your experience, constraints, priorities and target roles. Use that context to compare options rather than assuming a popular title or a peer's choice is automatically right for you.
Understand the requirements
- Review role descriptions and the evidence they ask for
- Identify skills or experience gaps to investigate
- Prioritise preparation that aligns with your target roles
- Track applications and lessons from the process where the product supports it
Guidance, not guarantees
Aco's Helper is intended to help you think through relevant choices and next steps. It is not a placement agency, and ACOSYSTEM does not promise employment, interviews or a particular salary.

A transition checklist
Before choosing a new direction, list the responsibilities you have performed, examples of work you can demonstrate, skills requested by target roles, location or compensation constraints and the time you can spend preparing. Compare this evidence with current role descriptions instead of relying only on job titles or broad trend claims. Keep a record of which applications or conversations change your understanding of the market, and revise the plan when new evidence appears.
